About the artwork
This photograph, taken at Yellowstone's sulphur springs, is one of a kind. I did not grow up seeing sulphur springs, and to look at it for the first time was a different experience. There's smoke all the time, yet nothing is burning. The walkway is close to the spring, yet you shouldn't touch it. In a way, it was an experience I had not had before. It was an unknown unknown for me until then.
